Natalie has been attending outpatient care at Saint Camillus Hospital. Three days a week she receives physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
Due to the wonderful weather in Watertown she had to miss a few of her sessions but has been attending whenever possible. She is currently feeling a bit under the weather which caused her to pass on today's therapies.
Please be aware the visitor policy remains the same because Natalie is currently adjusting to her new surroundings and will need to take her time and be around familiar faces.
I will update the blog with more news shortly - Keep up the great work, Nat!

To Natalie's Family - my brother was in a snowmobile accident 5 years ago. He sustained a severe brain injury (to his brain stem). Today he is an inspiration to those that are going through the same thing that he did. I would love to talk to you and share some of the things that we have learned throughout our journey (that may help you in yours). I can be contacted at jprince2@twcny.rr.com. You are not alone and Natalie is lucky to have you all. Best of luck.
hi i hope you feel better
Hoping for an update soon...
We're all pulling for you Nat!
Hi Nat & Family; Just wanted you folks to know that I am very very glad that Nat is back at home. I went through the same type of kind of ordeal myself, however for not as long a time as Nat. I was riding a 4weeler at the time and I crashed on the Sears Pond Rd just made it across the bride towards Motague Inn. anyway It happened on June 3rd 2000. They first took me to the Lowville hospital and they took a scan of my head and then thet told my wife that i have to go to Watertown hospital. I don't remember anythng about the accident or anything about the whole month in the hospital. They kept me drugged in Watetown. Then my wife had them take me to the University Hospital exactly a month later 7/3/2000. I spent a month there and I went to Cmmillus Rehab. Center for almost a month. I got out on my boys birthday which is 8/28. I went to therapy at the Carthage hospital for about 3 months after that. I went every day during the week. I lost all the use of my right arm ad i have a leg brace on my right leg also. There is a lot more that i lef out but that is the jist of things. I now live in Glenfield, NY. Again I am very glad hat Nat is back home with you all. Roman
