Amazing progress!

Today Natalie was moved from the stepdown ICU to the hospital's 5th floor, a general care wing. Because of her regulatory levels, nurses removed her central line, which monitored her heart rate and blood pressure among other things. Nat still has an IV in her wrist for administering medication. This obviously brings Natalie closer to the rehabilitation stage where she will hopefully regain a majority of her functions.

Rebecca is currently resting at a motel in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She is about 680 miles from Syracuse which translates roughly to 10 hours at an average speed of 70mph. The weather forecast for tomorrow is thunderstorms up the east coast so she may stop to rest tomorrow night as well, pending the road conditions and her location by 5PM.

Thanks so much for this site. We live in the neighborhood and it is great to be able to follow Natalie's progress. The last few reports sound great. Natalie must be a fighter. The whole family will continue to be in our prayers.

The Foulgers and Mike,
Ever since I heard the news I've been praying for Nat. It is great to hear her progress over these past weeks and makes it all more promising of a speedy recovery. Mike it is great that you have set this up and are able to inform all of us who can't be there but wish we could. If you need anything the family is right around the corner. Our prayers are with you all. Nat keep it up, your strong and are a fighter.

We are so glad to hear that Natalie has "graduated" to a regular floor, and that there have been so many positive signs. You all are amazingly strong! Mike, you are doing a fantastic job with this blog-what a great use of the technology and a huge help to Marc and Tina. Please know that the entire South Jeff Community is behind all of you and that SO many prayers have been offered for Natalie as well as the family and s.o's. Stay strong and optimistic!
