Minor Surgery Results

Natalie's surgery, scheduled for 8AM started a half hour early this morning. Doctor's found a small hole in her bladder that they said will heal on its own in a few weeks. Other than that, the surgery was a success, eliminating the risk of infection in that area.

Natalie's facial expressions continued today as doctors raised her morphine drip to calm her down and ease the pain.

Doctors also put an air cast on Natalie's left ankle as a precaution. This is the ankle that Orthopedists repaired during the pelvic surgery.

Keep your comments coming as we know Nat will surely read them when she is able!

My thoughts and prayers are out to Natalie and her family. Its wonderful to hear that she is improving daily. I was never really close with Natalie but I graduated with Kyle and played on the basketball team with him. I remember visiting once for Natalie's b-day party her senior year and had a great time. You have a wonderful family. Good luck with everything that follows.

Nat~
Our apartment is so lonely without you and in general it is really different to not have you around! We all miss you tons and talk about all our memories with you every night during "Family Dinner"! You are the strongest most amazing person I know and can't wait to see those beautiful eyes opened wide and just looking at the world. I can't wait for you to get better and to hear your voice again. Keep up the fight. Your progress is excellent! The girls and I will be up to see you soon.

Mike thanks for keeping us all up to date. It is making things a lot easier to keep up with everything that is going on with Nat right now!

Love you lots Nat!
